Why not allowing people with a visual disability to have a smartphone that they can find aesthetically pleasing not through vision, but through touch?
The moveable pins work as outputs as they move up and down individually to create a message in braille or an icon with texture. They as well work as inputs since they are also buttons that can be pressed to either select an option or type a message. By this it is possible to simulate a touch screen that doesn’t need sight.
The aim is beauty and pleasure through textures, as well as an up-to-date smartphone for people with a visual impairment.
