Carysil, India’s top designer kitchen brand specialised in quartz sinks distributes its products in more than 40 countries worldwide. Diversifying its product range, Carysil decided to create its own range of kitchen faucets. Next Ship’s responsibilities consisted in creating 3 ranges of faucets, adapted to the design guidelines of 3 of Carysil’s existing kitchen sinks. All 3 product ranges had to include one-lever mixer faucets as well as two-lever kitchen faucets for the UK. Next Ship collaborated with Lehel Juhos (Juhos Design Studio), and created together 3 different visual directions for the 3 collections, originated in the different possible shapes of the spouts’ cross-sections. The main challenge was then to create uniquely designed products that can also work together as collections. The faucets present equilibrium in their respective proportions, a great attention to details and show consistency throughout the whole product range. Colours include the chrome as well as matt black versions, all introduced to the international market in 2016.
