Xbody Actiwave Smart Fitness Belt Wireless module Xbody Actiwave is the product of worldwide EMS fitness solution provider Xbody. It uses electric muscle stimulation (EMS) technology to increase the efficiency of workouts. Our assignment was to give shape to the new wireless system for Actiwave. The wireless system consists of Actiwear control unit and the Fitbelt holder belt. The main control unit makes it possible to move freely, while the Fitbelt held it fit on you during the workout. Fitbelt Modular Belt Fitbelt secures the Actiwear comfortable on your body during your workout. You can easily move it around your hip while the double locking system holds it on safely. The Fitbelt matches the style of the traning suit. Thanks to the modular structure it can be converted to any size. It keeps the Actiwear safe during any type of body movement. Actiwear Control Unit Wired connection makes it difficult or even impossible to do exercises that need space. Actiwear makes such exercises possible without compromises. The wearable control unit connects wirelessly to the controller stand. Ergonomics was our main focus during the design process. The product is comfortable to wear and does not limit the user in any movement. The Actiwear connects to the training suit with a custom magnetic plug. It makes changing much faster and easier. Design From Ideas to Manufacturing During the design process, we aimed to create a new product that fits into the product line of the Actiwave family. The new functions need new ideas and ergonomic shape. Actiwear is coated with durable matte finish. The iconic red color matches the product line style and shows the main part of the training suit. Its shape fits perfectly to the human body. Besides the look of the product it was important to fit all the electric components. In close cooperation with the hardware developers, We’ve managed to reduce the size of the unit during the prototyping phase. In the end, we delivered a design ready for manufacturing.
