Flike is a manned, drone-motorbike hybrid aircraft. It’s a totally new type of vehicle with 3×2 1,5meter propellers, 6 electric motors, flight controller computer and range extender. We joined into the project when it had already a flying prototype. Our main task was to join to the developing phase and design a complete vehicle from the mechanical components. Starting with placing all the elements to design the whole body of the machine. The main requirements were to be aerodynamic, ergonomic, portable and extremely cool all together. Next to the main design we also worked on the user interface to make it easy for the pilot to see all the important data during the flight. The frame is made of titan tubes and the body parts from carbon and glass fiber composites.
