The Piano Coat Rack is an elegant, multi-purpose wall-mounted hanger panel that features clever foldable hooks that adjust across the width of the hanger, at four different heights. More than a coat rack, the functional piece can hold anything from clothes to bags, and can be adapted to various rooms. The hooks can be reconfigured, or “played,” as with a piano keyboard; when not in use, the hooks close for a space-saving effect. Produced by the Belgian company PER/USE, the hanger was designed by Brussels-based designer Patrick Séha, whose aesthetic is a meld of practical and playful. The coat rack is available in two sizes and in a choice of top-grade woods, either beech (white), oak (black) or walnut (natural). The small Piano Coat Rack has 20 hooks while the large has 48 hooks.
