The Task light uses a magnetic pivot and an adjustable counterweight to change the angle of the LED light, becoming a mobile sculptural form in a state of equilibrium with visual harmony between the parts. Stained rimu and cast concrete are juxtaposed to compliment their individual beauty, creating a sharp, linear form. These materials are detailed with powder coated steel and red textile cord, amalgamating intelligent design and traditional artisan processes
