Bamboo craft is one of Chinese traditional handcrafts, and bamboo enjoys high reputations in Chinese traditional literatures. I was inspired to use traditional handcrafts of bamboo to make two new products. Using the hot bending technology with considerations of modern needs and lifestyles, the products will fully present bamboo’s feature of heated bending, and become a breakthrough of the product materials.
