Developing and manufacturing for TWISCTUBE LAMP has been one of our most exciting experiences to date into studio IRON&WOOD. This design are deceptively simple. Twistcube lamp is a collection of articulated lamps that brings movement and play into wood lamps, questioning the function of traditional wood lamps. Simple geometric components linked by magnetics reveal the function as a visual feature. The system invites to manipulate the lamps and enjoy the feeling of the pieces sliding smoothly around each other. Twistcube lamp is functional, is movement, is a new way of experiencing differents positions. Twistcube have four differents positions.
